Ron Adams (American, b. 1934)
Ron Adams is recognized for his technical skill as a master printmaker, first making a name for himself at the notable atelier Gemini G.E.L. and later, in 1974, when he opened Hand Graphics in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Over the years he collaborated with numerous artists including John Biggers, Judy Chicago, Luis Jimenez, Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Rauschenberg, and others. His works are in the permanent collections of the national Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; the Museum of Afro- American Culture, Dallas, Tx; the Museum of Fine Art, Santa Fe, New Mexico; the Bronx Museum, Bronx, New York, and many others.
